Group Therapy

Group therapy in NYC. Online group therapy in New York.

Group therapy gives you a place where you don’t have to face your struggles alone. It also lets you explore how you connect with others and get feedback in real time. Many people discover that healing comes not just from understanding themselves, but from feeling supported and accepted by others who truly get what they’re going through.

Groups can be especially helpful if you feel alone while dealing with something difficult. Some of the hardest moments come when we feel isolated and stuck, or so overwhelmed that asking for help seems out of reach. While some groups focus on a shared experience or concern, the way people interact in the group often becomes just as important as the topic itself. In these groups, members not only get support and insight about a specific issue, but also start to notice how that issue affects their relationships with others in the group. Over time, this can lead to deeper self-understanding, taking emotional risks, and having new experiences with others that go beyond just getting advice or receiving information.

Current Group Offerings:

Holding space: A virtual group for therapists-in-training

Beginning in fall/winter of 2026, I’m offering a weekly support group for graduate students training to become therapists and pre-licensed mental health professional.s. The goals of the group are:
(1) to provide a safe, confidential space to discuss the emotions and experiences that arise from school and internships
(2) give members the chance to connect with peers and feel less isolated
(3) explore their professional identity amongst peers
(4) navigate common fears about entering the field, including burnout and job stability.

The group will meet weekly online on Mondays or Wednesdays. A specific day and time will be decided after determining general availability among group members.

The standard fee for sessions will be $50, with the option for a sliding scale based on financial need. Please reach out if you’re interested in setting up an initial consultation.
