About Me

A female therapist with long dark hair and blue eyes, resting her chin on her hand, smiling gently, in a therapy office in New York City.

Finding a therapist can be difficult - it requires your time, effort, and vulnerability. My hope is that by sharing a bit about me, you might have a better sense of whether we’ll “click.”

I earned my BS in Political Science from Boise State University, where I also competed in speech and debate all four years. Afterwards, I spent time coaching debate and advocacy at a correctional facility in Idaho, which remains a highlight of my life and continues to shape my thinking about therapy - I’ll meet you where you’re at, and always believe in your capacity to change. Before discovering my path to becoming a therapist, I spent five years in legal administrative work, including four years in Washington, DC, as an executive assistant at an international law firm. In 2021, I returned to school and graduated with my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in 2023.
