About Me
Finding a therapist is hard—it requires your time, effort, and vulnerability. If you happen to find yourself here, my hope is that by sharing a bit about me, you might have a better sense of whether we’ll “click.”
Growing up, I split my childhood between southern California and Idaho. Before realizing I wanted to be a therapist, I earned my BS in Political Science from Boise State University. I spent the next five years doing legal administrative work, including four years in Washington, DC, as an executive assistant at an international law firm. In 2021, I returned to school and received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in 2023.
Throughout high school and college, I competed in speech and debate, where I used my platform to advocate for social causes important to me. After graduating, I spent time coaching inmates at an Idaho correctional facility in debate and advocacy. These experiences help shape my thinking about therapy—I will meet you where you’re at, and believe in your capacity not only to heal, but to make use of your voice in the world in meaningful ways.
